Golf Course Director
Jacob Hill brings a wealth of experience in club management, player development, and golf merchandising to Fort Walton Beach Golf Club. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to elevating the golfer experience and fostering an inclusive, community-focused golf culture.
Jacob’s career in golf began at the age of 14, regripping clubs at PCB Golf Shop. He later worked as a guest services attendant during high school before officially starting his professional journey at 18 as an Assistant Golf Professional at Pensacola Country Club. He went on to serve as an Assistant Golf Professional at Shark’s Tooth Golf Club, Head Golf Professional at Indian Bayou Golf Club, and General Manager at Shalimar Pointe Golf Club. These roles have provided him with extensive experience across all facets of golf operations and leadership.
Throughout his career, Jacob has been fortunate to learn from and collaborate with many of the industry’s most respected professionals — including successful General Managers, Head Golf Professionals, Golf Course Superintendents, and Golf Digest Top 100 Instructors. These mentorships have helped shape his professional philosophy and his commitment to excellence both on and off the course.
A proud Northwest Florida native, Jacob grew up competing in local junior events such as the Daily News Junior Tour, hosted right here in Fort Walton Beach. He remains passionate about giving back to the community that inspired his lifelong love for the game and is deeply committed to supporting and growing junior golf throughout the region.
